Galants from the earlier days are so much more reliable. I have one and it hasnt failed me. 240k miles.

Did you remember the most important step, dropping the plug in the hot pan of motor oil when "She" yells "did you forget you were taking me (insert somewhere here)". Done this in the middle of the winter in the snowbank garage. Lot nicer where you are. Thank you for the video

Me wifes galant was purchased new in November of 2004 and 14 years later it's still running like a champ with only 135k miles on it. All it need is a paint job and interior shampoo and she will be like new again.

Cool video Lucky the oil filter looked easy sometimes it’s in a effed up spot on them cars I was planning on making a new oil change video for my truck funny how we think alike thumbs up cuz 👍

what is the engine oil type and grade ?

It depends on what size motor you have but if it's a24 vs then you need 5w 20 and I believe, certainly double- check however I believe it's 4.3 or 4.2 leaders. Don't forget the oil filter

You also can put two grades...(check with autozone rep), . I went with Penzoil 5w-20
