How to Change Prep Machine Filter | First Time Mum UK
Hi guys,
I just wanted to share how I change the filter on the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine which we use to make baby's bottles through the night. Please do your own research on the machine and make your own decision of if you feel comfortable using one. It works for us and our family and I thought this video may be helpful to those of you who use one as well so I wanted to share.

It doesn’t take long to change the filter at all, about 10 minutes in total

Hi yes, I've been waiting for the descale light to come up to film a video on how I descale the prep machine but it never did (perhaps cuz I descaled it without being prompted on a couple of occasions for my own piece of mind). We don't actually use the prep machine anymore so that light will never come up now but I think I will make a video on it still.

Aww thank you! I’m glad you like my videos 😃. I’ve just done a new one on how to avoid blowing out the ma CJ one whilst cleaning/descaling it so please give that a watch cuz it seems to be an issue a lot of people have. Congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope it’s going well ❤️.

Do you not a run a clean cycle before fitting new filter as per manual and TT's own video? I know the boxes seem to miss this step out

Actually, the box does state a clean cycle should be run at each filter change, just not included in steps for some reason

Hi, I do a clean cycle monthly and before the filter change. I do not want to make my videos too complicated or add a clean cycle in this video as well when I have a step by step guide on a clean cycle already. It is easier for viewers to understand with the 2 separate videos.

Sis how long does it take for the water to filter through? My water light has been on for a long time

Hi, it normally filters through in 30seconds or so. Not sure why yours would have taken so long. Has it gone off now?
