thank you so much you saved me the time and money of getting the caliper wind tool, it's very easy, just use a pliers to wind it back.

Is tightening at torque specifications necessary? Thanks.

I've read that one is clockwise, on the driver's side, and counter-clockwise on the passenger.

Is it necessary to replace the rotor with the brake pads?
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 2 года назад
yes, the can cause vibrations when they are just as old as the brake pads. Some rotors are not visibly worn and can "appear" perfectly flat but they are not.

Are brake pads and rotors are same for front and rear axles on IM?
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 2 года назад
You mean are the parts the same ?
@BlahBlahManYeah
@BlahBlahManYeah 2 года назад
@@OneTrickTech yes. Also, you could share part number on pads and clips.
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 2 года назад
yes the parts are different, rear brakes are always smaller then the front ones. I don't have part numbers for these, you can purchase any brake pad and rotors sets for that car anywhere online or locally.

What’s the name of the ointment you used on the outside of the pads?
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 2 года назад
Aluminum Anti-Seize. You can get it at a parts store or I have a link in the video description !
@artaguilar7338
@artaguilar7338 8 месяцев назад
@@OneTrickTechI never knew you could use anti-seize on the hardware or back of the pads. I thought it was mainly grease. Thanks for the idea.

I didnt spin the rear pistons and pushed them in is that bad?
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 2 года назад
Well you need to push the piston in to make room for the new pads. Did the caliper fits onto the new pads?
@uiopoiu334
@uiopoiu334 3 года назад
What was the lubricant you sprayed on the rubber piece after pushing the piston back into the caliper
@OneTrickTech
@OneTrickTech 3 года назад
PB blaster. You can also just use some WD-40. Anything to unstick the rubber boot from the piston
