Don’t even have to take the cover plate off. Lift the mower. Reach in and put a wrench on top. Impact from the bottom while holding the wrench. 5 seconds. Done

Hey all you needed is a impact wobble joint (picked up a 3 pack at harbor freight for $10) and an extension and it comes off easy.

scag need to up grade because a can't do am small arms 😢

I just hit it from the bottom and it comes right off, changing blades every 2-3 days it never seizes

EE GADS man... Harbor Freight?? Just kidding. I ain't too good for Harbor Freight. I have to admit, in planning to pick up a V Ride in the near future that center blade had me concerned. Glad to see someone smarter than me has already figured this issue out. Shame a bunch of engineers didn't take it into account!
