A very quick-and-nasty video showing how easy it is to change the spark plugs on a VW up!. The process took under 10 minutes from start to finish while filming. A super easy job! Parts used: NGK ZKER6A-10EG Spark Plugs
Own the same car, got it back from a service today. Was shocked by the costs of it. Next time I’ll do it myself, thanks to this vid. Btw, they billed me for 4 plugs. So I will visit them 1 last time and get a little money back. 😏
Just finished doing them. Mines the turbo model so it was a bit more difficult, boost pipe had to come off to get to the first spark plug. Thanks for the video man
Does anyone know if you can use the sparkplugs from the Up TSI/GTI? Because these have the iridium sparkplugs but something is 1mm shorter than for the MPI engines.
Greetings from India! I have a VW Polo which has the same CHYB engine. I assume it runs on the same plugs mentioned here. That said I have been wanting to try some iridium ones. Could you please recommend/suggest the iridium replacement for NGK ZKER6A-10EG?
@@AndrewTSq No..They weren't broken. You can put them back together again. It takes a lot of effort/force. They won't give up easily but they will budge after a while...
@@michagrzegorczyk5342 anything else you changed throughout the ownership? How many kms do you have now? I also changed front shock absorbers on 54k km which is way soon from my opinion. On Skoda Fabia 2016.
