I own a 2009 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab 4x4 Long Bed SR5 TRD Sport and will have to replace my damaged left tail light. Thanks for the helpful detailed how to do it yourself footage, I really appreciate it!

How do you change out just the clear cover over the tail light?

Not sure if it’s possible , proble only if you hear it up and remove it from factory caulking or so.

Mine did not come with light bulbs? How do you get plastic off and replace

On the back where the bulb is connected you should be able to twist and take the bulb out by pulling the bulb out and install a new one . Hope that answers the question.
