Thanks for the video! The manual describes how to replace the battery, but seeing someone actually do it helped reassure me that I was doing it correctly and not breaking the tabs on the key fob. My key fob contained a CR2025 cell, and I didn't have one on hand; I did however have a CR2032. The latter is slightly thicker but has a higher capacity, so it will last longer. If you use the CR2032, it will try to jump out of the compartment, but putting the key fob cover on will hold it in place.
I confirm that the CR2032 fits in there perfectly and you just have to push down on the cover while closing. The 2032 is 225mAh while the 2025 is 163mAh, so you're going to get about 30% more life with the 2032.

I was pretty sure I could see how to do it, but didn't want to make a stupid, expensive mistake. This reassured me and quite possibly saved me a drive over to the dealer. Thank you!

With really poorly fitting American sized Allen keys the size of the tip of a needle. If u need to swap that. Have THEM do it. I got it done but don't recommend this method lol. Peace
