How To Change The Blinker Bulb on a 2012 Nissan Rogue

2015 Rogue Select for us. My arm was way too big to fit between there, so I had to remove the airbox. I figured it would take like 5 minutes, but getting the push pin things out took a while, and then all 3 broke because they were so old. Getting the airbox off the back was annoying too, trying to figure out how those little tabs work. Just jammed a small flathead between the box and the tabs and pulled until one side popped out, then did the other side. Once that was finally off, I got to the bulb, changed it, but then took a bit of time to get it back in the slot because I didn't realize the 3 little tabs on the edge of the bulb socket actually had one tab with a different design than the other two. Once I got it in, slid the airbox back in (I noticed the tube that connects to the air tube that goes down has some kind of felt ring around it that was deteriorating, but I just stuck it back on there since I figured it wouldn't matter much...just removed the bits that were falling off so they didn't fall down into the tube). Stuck 2 of the broken plastic clips back in to hold the front of the airbox, then ordered a pack of 240 retainer clips from Amazon for $10. Once those came in, properly replaced the 3 broken clips. Definitely ended up being way more work than I expected (probably 25-30 minutes total), but I'm sure it would have taken the dealer 5 minutes to do it, and would have charged me $50-$60, so well worth it. Next time it will probably take 10 minutes.

How do you know if the problem is the front or rear blinker light ? If it's the rear blinker light...how do change that bulb ? Thanks LM

Is the fast blinker in the dash board, indicate the bulb or a "turn signal flasher," problem? I don't know, just trying to save some money.

I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue and the front and back are both blinking fast. I guess that means replace both? Is the back as easy as the front "looks"?

My own personal opinion. Although this video was mostly helpful, it would have helped to know which way to turn to remove both the bulb and the holder. They only turn one way so fighting to turn both ways was a waste of time.

My arms are pretty skinny & it was a bitch to reach in there. I removed the screws from the support above where his arm was and then was able to get at it.

Thank god I have small hands because that would be a bitch .
