As a "do it yourselfer" our knowledge of how things work together should be constantly growing. Here I share some of the tips and tricks I have picked up over the years along the way. Thanks for watching be sure to subscribe.
@bullseyenate231 I think the only difference is that mine is reading a TRAC OFF, ABS, traction control and VSC OFF light. I've already replaced both front wheel speed sensors, bled the brakes and fished the system. So idk
@@noconatorify yes, you may need to get a reading from a diagnostics tool if the ABS light is on as well. A lot of people have had success with changing their gas cap when the check engine light has been on in addition to the VSC TRAC and TRAC OFF lights were both on. Haven’t had a lot of people interact about the ABS light.
@bullseyenate231 I have a computer and I manually cleared the codes and the lights on the dash... but after I did all that work, I drove it and they came right back on.
Yes the location is slightly different on the suburban but the concept is exactly the same. Locate the air box, release clips, take the old filter out, and replace with new clean filter. Let me know if you have any problem or if you want to ask about a specific model! I would be happy to help.
My 2003 has 331,000 on it and I’ve had so far 2 1/2 fail on me, I say a half, because one works sometimes haha! Driver door, driver-side rear and passenger front door.
Yes just the vsc trac and trac off light is just a malfunction. Most likely if the check engine light is on as well it is an emissions thing which is typically a gas cap that is no longer sealing. Replacing the gas cap will fix the issue if it continues to occur.
That makes sense when I bought my 2007 Toyota 4Runner the cable that holds the gas cap ripped so the seal is probably worn out. I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery it just came back on after driving a good distance.
Desconecta tu bateria por 10 minutes y vuelve aserlo Ami no me funciono la primera ves hice lo de la bateria y funciono perfectamente otra cosa trata de aprenderte los pasos sin ver El video Suerte
Correct. If you used the rca or Bluetooth. You could use a regular channel for them but then you would be tying up a whole channel that couldn’t be used for anything else.
You're the MVP. Do you happen to have one on how to change the fog lights? I bought them like 8 months ago and realized i didnt know how you change them 🤣
Yeah man I don’t have a video to share :( I wish I did. However, changing the fog lights is super easy. You will need a ratchet, a 10mm socket, a 8mm socket, a t20 torque bit and a flat head screwdriver. You go underneath the side you want to change take the 10mm bolts out and remove the plastic clip with the flat head screw driver. Once that small plastic cover pierce is off this gives you access to the fog light. Unplug the light, take your 8mm socket and unscrew the mounting bolt, then take you flat head screw driving and pop the light out. The light comes out pushing forward while releasing the clip with the flat head screw driver. Insert the new light and put everything back together doing the above process in reverse. Hopefully this information is helpful for you!
wish you had ran the engine so we could hear the noise. I have a very squeaky noise. Timing belt replaced 15K ago, with pulleys and belts. This doesn't help a lot, but it helps. Thanks.
The tensioner pulley was so seized I didn’t want to cause more damage to other components. Honestly it probably would have just shredded the belt if I would have run it.
Great job! Only thing missing in my opinion would be to lube the O-rings before reinstalling, just to prevent them from catching and snapping as your tightening them down from being dry. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much. My old bulb's plastic stem was cracked, and so I was so befuddled why it wasn't coming out. The bulb was all loosey-goosey but not releasing. After watching you, I knew that I needed to look closer at the bulb and that's when I saw the cracked stem. Used a pair of forked pliers and I was good. I can't thank you enough!
