I am rebuilding a TR3 engine, but I do not film it as I already have a TR4 engine rebuild playlist, which is basically the same engine with bigger pistons. But this time I am changing the cam bearings and I decided to post a video about that.

Really enjoy these engine resto videos. So very nice of you to offer that EXPENSIVE tool for others to use. A word of caution however. Very few people are going to respect and care for that EXPENSIVE tool the way you are, so I would be VERY selective who I lent it to. I have had many experiences in the past where I have lent out tools to people I trusted only to get them returned bent, broken , pieces missing or not returned at all. You have such a generous and giving nature and I know you want to help others but BEWARE!!! Many other car guy buddies of mine have experienced the very same thing. A good friend of mine who is a mechanic has a sign on his tool box which reads"Asking to borrow one of my tools is like asking If you can sleep with my wife" lol...lol

Gord, I know the British car owners are all good people. There are so many nice guys out there, who do so many nice things for me including yourself. I want to be helpful to other people too and I understand that this is a tool, which in many cases one would need just once and it is not worth buying it. Since I bought it already I don't mind landing it to other people and save them the troubles :) Maybe I haven't burnt my hands yet and that is why I am so optimistic LOL

Is there a certain cam bearing tool for these engines? or can I purchase a universal? Been looking over your videos and Cheftush on the engine rebuilding. I have learned a lot on how to rebuild my TR3. I have another TR4 engine to do and I would like the proper tools for the job. Thanks for your input.
