Here I will be showing you the close up steps of replacing the Xenon bulb and ignitor on a 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 Range Rover Sport Headlight. These steps are the same for both left and right side headlights
You need to use a D2S bulb. The bulbs are not interchangeable as they use different connectors. The D1S bulbs use integrated ignitors that the D2S bulbs do not use. Here is a quick comparison image I found through google. www.bimmerfest.com/attachments/d1s_d2s_bulbs-jpg.503426/
@@fouadmikail8945 My suggestion is to look on ebay or amazon for OEM Philips or Osram D2S xenon bulbs. Dealerships will charge 100-200 per bulb and you can find them new online for 25-50 per bulb. I personally don't care for cheap aftermarket bulbs with no name. those tend to either have bad color or don't last very long. Also, due to the age in the bulbs, you should replace both bulbs at the same time so they output the same color/brightness. Keep the other used bulb as a spare for later. I would also suggest confirming your bulb is bad before ordering new ones. Sometimes it's the ballast and/or ignitor (or all 3 parts) that fail. You can easily test the bulb by swapping the bulbs between the left and right side headlight and see if the problem moves with the bulb. That way you can confirm you need a bulb and don't waste money on a part that you don't need.
@@gftgrill alright bro, search them on amazon, thanks a lot for the feedback. Actually the problem with me is that I got the car recently and it have different colors lamps. One of them is white and the other is blue and they aren’t bright at all at night time. Specially I have my my front glass tinted so I need a super bright light at night. Again, thanks a lot for relying bro.
