The Master Code on a Kwikset Powerbolt 2 is a 4-10 digit code that can be used to program the lock-before you make changes to the lock's settings the Master Code is required.

oK, per instructions I get two beeps but it flashes red not green. How do I resolve this inorder for the lock to work? ty

Hi there, It looks like you're missing something. Repeat the door handing process again and follow the instructions properly. Next, try changing the default Master Code again. The default Master Code is 0000. Follow the instructions carefully.

Try resetting the lock to factory defaults, then follow the instructions here to change the default Master Code.
