Great video! Couple things. First, how does the pad know if you’re pushing the first number or the second? Second thing is that anyone could factory reset it without you knowing it. Seems to me that that’s a serious security flaw. At the very least, the cover should be screwed on.

FOR THOSE WHO CANT GET PAST THE DEADBOLT DIRECTION STEP: I had to press the reset button while a battery was removed then while holding the reset button put a battery back. There was a short affirming jingle and everything started working properly.

Your excellent instructions saved the day! I was able re-set and now used daily .it was already installed in a recent home purchase. We hoped to find a solution and you had the best. From the beginning i learned how to initiate the "directional operation/(L/R door side setup" it's the trick where you turn the bolt outward then hit reset to sense the location that was the most important information. It was so screwed up, we couldn’t get the key out unless I locked the door from the outside, then enter my house from the garage! I finally told them to forget it and I would do it myself! Initially I wanted to skip this video because it was long, however, I took that to mean it would have the greatest detail for programming. Thank you for the video. Helped a lot since I lost the manual. Don't forget to press the lock button a SECOND time AFTER choosing what number you want to go to THEN put in the code and press lock button again. That second lock press kept confusing me on the directions. It has a list of numbers to choose from and there is only one lock symbol in the middle of the list for everything. Thanks again!

Having to pull the plate back off. The plunger came out of its hole. At least that’s what I’m thinking. The key is spinning around and not locking the lock. Am I doing correctly, taking plate off to insure plunger.

Reset, then press 0-0-0-0 (Lock), it beeps, then I press 0 (beeps), press lock (no beep, nothing happens). I cannot get it to do the first direction detection step. Any ideas? I followed the written instructions, I followed exactly what you've done here, but it will not do it.

Hello thank you for your tutorial, I have a problem I can’t lock the door if the key is not in the bolt, I try with out a key and it won’t retract I just see it jumping and clicking I put the key in and it will close or open no problem what can be wrong?

Quick question! You know how you explained how to reset that master lock because anybody on here would know it. What about that automatic preset code? The 1234?? Is that gone now too when I set another code or how do I delete that ??
