Loved this video. I'm not very mechanically inclined and have always taken my bike or car to the workshop to get it serviced. I recently had an issue with the coolant on the bike. Watched your video and decided to try it out. It was very easy to do after watching your video and I successfully changed the coolant. In this video I've also now learnt how to change the oil and will be able to do this myself when required. Thank you

Great vid! Thank you for this. Had my bike serviced at BMW. I was very disappointed to find out that the oil level is way above the max level mark. It's almost at the top of the circle. Will this cause outright issues to the bike? Will try to bring it back to BMW for reservicing. Thanks.

Hi Mark. How important is it to use torque meter and not do it by a feel? I've watched your other video about chain tensioning and torque spec was also mentioned. Is it highly recommended to measure it?

So do we check the oil level to be bewteen the max and min while its running or while the bike is off? Cause while my bike is running the oil level is between the two points, but while its not the sight glass is full.

I have it done, in countries where I live, it is so cheap to have it done. So much easier. But it is nice to watch how THEY should do it, for when I watch if they do it correct. especially filling up, they like to overfill if you are not watching.
Hi Matt I've had my bike for over 2 years and found it a shame that there was no provision for 'bobbins' on the 'swing-arm' to enable the use of a really secure paddock-stand. Jobs like chain adjustment and oil changing are a pain as it is. Like your videos !.
Took my G310, in the UK, for it's '2 year' BMW dealer service, not cheap especially when I saw the cost of less than two litres of engine oil came to £59 (GBP)!!!!!!!!. What sort of Semi-Synth oil are they using ?.
Plz help Lots of white smoke is evaporating from the bend pipe of my g310 r white smoke not coming from exhaust but it is evaporating from exhaust pipe connecting to the engine underneath seat. I have also filmed a video of it. Within 1 min of bike start lot of fumes evaporate. If possible plz provide your mail id on which I can send you the video of it so maybe you could help me. I am feared of starting it. It would be great pleasure if you could help. Also is it due to wet sumping ?

I put exactly 1650ml in and it does not even show on the side window. Bike is straight on stands. Very weird. I did tip it to the side to drain completely.

ECLECTIC 361 been waiting for a new brake caliper for three months now still no phone from my dealership on when they’ll have replacement. They said that my bike is fine to ride until they get the part. Lol
The only difference is you do it on the side stand and lay on the ground. Just make sure when you check the oil level the bike is straight up and down.
