The flywheel puller is M30 x 1.0. the BMW puller is not in the states or germany as BMW dealers said. Just get another one using the measurements i provided. Also, to reiterate, "custom" cover guide pins are m6x1.0 100mm. You can also use a long allen key (m9) as a TDC locating pin. Although you CAN still order the locating pin (110 515) for $20 pick up, or $35 shipped from BMW.
@@MattsMotoWoRX your video was exactly what I was looking for with perfect instructions already got my new brake lever on and everything is working great
Hey Matt, I just wanted to say thanks a ton for the instructional videos. I have a 2000 yzf 600r Thundercat that I bought and rode for a few weeks before ( long story short) a piston tip broke off and began punching a hole through one of the cylinders. I've taken the motor off the bike and tore it down to get the piston and cylinder replaced. Its been a 3 yr. project but I'm finally getting some headway and hopefully will have her running by my birthday on august 4th...... god willing lol. I couldn't have done what I'm attempting to do w out your shared knowledge. thanks!!!!!
i got 132k miles on mine brought it at around 10k miles and i had it for 7 years and i just now started getting the suspension problem you should stop hitting them speed bumps hard as fuck and you wouldnt break them and when it comes to the body coming down it did it to me after a car smashed into me then it seem like it started going all over the damn place lol i love this car dont plan on getting rid of it i just now started running into problems last year was my ac i had more issues with my battery in this car than anything else over 7 years so im not sure what you doing dude but you should most differently slow down on speed bumps and shit that will break your suspensions fast as fuck
Thanks for the video. What if the battery is bad to start with but also doesn't charge when the engine is running? Is it not charging because it's bad to start with or is there also a fault with the stator and/or rectifier?
I have a Spyder SM5 but I have panners fitted. so I am having a lot of trouble removing the indicator arm that now supports the indicator. Can anyone help
Where do the little colored wires you have on the PC5 go to? Mine did not come with any wires. Im assuming somewhere on the quickshifter but could you please help? I have a quick shifter installed on the same exact bike but can't get it it to work. BTW loved the video, had tickewve you a like, comment and of course a new subscriber!! 😊
thank you Matt , this is great , as Iam dealing with a 2003 f850 gs with crazy low clearance almost no clearance on my exhaust so ima going to use tat equation to bring the clearance back to a proper clearance ,
The OEM Yamaha factory service manual designates which bolts require loctite, and which ones do not. It would have been nice to actually have seen the open weep hole after you installed the oil seal (before the mechanical seal). I made the mistake of putting a small screwdriver up through the hole in the oil pan and may have damaged the seal, but don't know which one, so now I have to take the whole damn thing apart just to find out what damage I MAY havecaused. : (
Amazing! I'm way less anxious about my bike. I just re-timmed the engine after dropping the timing chain tensioners. NIGHTMARE! I've been terrified I did something wrong cause the engine makes so much noise anyway. The sound the bike hot is identical.
Video would've gotten more support if you drove through those clippings at high speeds. Talks cheap, show me you on a electric glide taking that thumbnail
I always used yoshi on my Hayabusas. The 2 bothers were more common on the 600, 750s, and for tuning and performance reliability I always went yoshi R77 for my Hayabusas and with a tune, make it lighter, and crisper, and pulled better tuned.
