Yours is the third video I watched on this subject and is the clearest, most thorough of them all. I'm confident I can go ahead without any problem. Thanks for the comments on oil and filter brands.
I am looking at purchasing a 2020 GS750 and wanted to see how difficult it was to change the oil. Very thorough video. If I purchase this bike I will definitely return for more videos. Thanks!
Bummer! I've never measured it but it looks like it's an M15X1.5. www.shopbmwmotorcycles.com/oem-parts/bmw-motorrad-oil-drain-plug-m16x1-5-al-11138359126
Great Tutorial, thank you. That’s the way I anticipated to do it. Confirmed 😊 Do you know a way to get rid of the service message on the display, besides de 911 tool?
Do you know how old the oil is? You may be getting some antifreeze leaking into it if you have a leaking head gasket. Is the antifreeze level okay? I would change the oil and then see if it still happening. There really isn't a great way for fuel to leak into your oil so if you're smelling it, it may be a leaky fuel pump. I had mine replaced on my 10yr old s1000rr under warranty so reach out to your dealer for that if you suspect a problem.
