The Roof Boxxer Carbon is a modular helmet with a slightly different method for removing the visor. Mainly, we have to remove the chin bar and 2 screws before we can get to the visor mechanism.
This isn't hard at all though as you can see, it only took Chris a couple minutes to do it and he was explaining it. Easy!
The brand new Roof Boxxer is successor to the successful Roof Boxer V8 Helmet. The shell is made from both carbon fiber and fiberglass. The chin-guard is fully upgraded and offers more space. Both the ventilation and the closure were improved to a whole new level. The new Roof Boxxer is certified both as a Jet helmet and Full-Face helmet. The result is a beautiful and Raw-looking Modular helmet. The Boxxer features a New clip-closure on the chin-guard with automated locking on both sides and offers more space for the chin

I think it’s one of the easiest HELMETS to operate, taking off putting on the visor are fine no difficulty with this

Even with a screwdriver, swapping the visor of the BoXXer is not as complex as it may seem and we're glad it went smoothly. Thanks for the comment! How have you found the Roof helmet so far?

I just got this helmet I did the process like I saw in this video maybe its because the helmet is new but the tinted visor does not want to slide down properly the bottom of the visor catches on the chinbar sealing gasket. I have to open the chinbar then close the visor

Thanks for the suggestion! For fixing the Boxer, the best option would likely be to contact Roof directly. Alternatively, if you purchased the helmet from us, you can also send us an email at info@championhelmets.com where we can check whether it falls under the helmet's warranty. Besides the vent issue, how have you found the Boxer?

I have the new Boxxer Fibreglass helmet but the problem I’m having is, it’s hard to lock the chin bar when wearing it. Also the visor when hand closing it the rubber seal tends to fold down, instead of staying on the outside like when you close the chin bar it closes the visor as well but the rubber this time stays on the outside.

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll make sure to add the video to our list. However, in the meantime, it will be very similar to changing the visor of the BoXXer. The main difference is that the mount of the Desmo will also need to be removed on both sides to switch the visor. How have you found the Desmo so far?
