I think they are T5 bulbs. But not certain.

Dan I think if you remove fuse 22 for the interior lights that should be easier than removing battery and you won’t have to connect phone etc again, great vid 👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you very much for this video, I've been searching all over to find what this rare type of bulb is. Going to replace my Renault Kadjar lights, it shares a lot of parts with the Qashqai.

Hi, I change the led light bulbs for the mirror on Qashqai J11. After that, all interior light disappeared. Could you help and tell me what should I do and how to fix it? Thx a lot.

Just a quick one, you should always disconnect earth before positive and repeat in reverse to reattach terminals

Really? I thought you keep earth attached to keep any charge remaining in the car grounded?

@@TheQashqaiGuy sorry only just seen your reply, I’m no good at explaining in a good way but this is off the internet explaining why. “Do not disconnect the positive (+) battery cable first! A slip of the wrench here creates a direct short to ground. Think instantaneous arc welder. The negative () cable is the ground cable; it is always connected to the frame or body metal and can safely be disconnected first with no chance of causing sparks. By the same token, always reconnect the positive cable before connecting the negative cable” Hope this explains it?

Hi Dan, so pleased you have done this one. Now then, about the advice to do with radio codes and saved settings. Saved settings first, what are we talking about here? Is this something like the additional selections one might have made to the central display, like showin speed limit signs, outside temperature... and where does one find ones radio code, one would like to know one would. Too many ones don'r make a white. What a difference now with them.

To be fair my stereo was fine and always has been with battery disconnecting. If applicable there'll be a code in your service or user manual. As for what's reset, I noticed trip mileage is, car body colour selection is and also best trip MPGs for a few.

@@TheQashqaiGuy Cheers for that, nothing too difficult to reset then. Trouble is I have a best mpg of 57.6 on our 1.2 petrol. I guess I can get that again. Going to find my bulbs (same type and seller as those you used of course) and get the job done. Okay, so now it's the 26th and I did what you did, but the bulbs do not work. I tried crying out to the sky, "Gimme a break," but it didn't work either. Nothing wrong with the radio after the battery disconnect. Lost the current trip mileage and a few other things, nothing importasnt in the scheme of things, but did have a huge gain on the MPG for an almost full tank... longer pause. 569 miles it said. I guess that is similar to a factory reset.
