Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I'm fixin to drive 1700 miles home to Texas. Between this and the foofy air (nitrogen) in my truck tires I feel so much safer!
Thanks for the tuitorial. I was on my way to get a 2 x 4 stretcher when i ran out of blinker fluid. Thank goodness you had a youtube video on how to refill it. Do you have a tuitorial on how to apply prop wash to the engine cooling fan? 😉
DUDE! I was really nervous trying to figure out how to fill my blinker fluid because it seemed so complicated. But you made it really easy to understand and now it seems so easy. I am definitely going to go do this tomorrow to ensure that my blinker fluid tank is up to par and fully topped off. Now... If I am just low on blinker fluid, do I need to drain the blinker fluid tank before adding the new stuff?
This video mad me confused for a second it was very in-depth makes it sound real now we need a video on how to change a lower radiator hose on a 1968 beetle as well as a muffler bearing same vehicle 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Is there a winter mix for the blinker fluid? I live in the northeast and want to ensure my blinkers don’t freeze up when the weather turns cold. Thanks for the excellent educational video!
I fill it to the bulb because it called for 500 ml and that’s where it ended up but your owner’s manual should have the exact amount you need to use in the back but most of the time it’s just up to the bulb
I'll bet both Ford and GM are working overtime trying to figure a way it will HELP us if they actually adopt this idea.....let's say 4 years from now Cheers from Canada North where we add anti-freeze so it won't blink too slowly.
One time I had a Dodge Dakota I bought brand spankin new in 1989. And low and behold before long, I had blinker fluid problems. Because somehow, water got in the fill hole and displaced ALL my blinker fluid. I don't believe I even got 100,000 blinks. And then I was driving around, with water sloshing around in there, instead of the original blinker fluid. I had to live with it. Nobody knew what to do. Thank you sir for this in case I get any future problems I'll take care of it myself.
I used it for a sore eye, works a treat 🎉 as an apprentice i had to get sprite level bubbles, used but in good condition and pudlock holes for the site scaffolding.
I'm not sure your you are getting the prank, there is no such thing as blinker fluid, the blinker involves electricity and a bulb, please don't try this, liguid and electricity don't mix.unless you want to ruin your electrical system...good luck!
Make sure you get the orange blinker fluid. The green will get you pulled over for having the wrong color. I believe the green if for side by side and tractors.
When the blinker fluid decreases Won’t it slow down? If so, does that mean I have to replace it very often. also how can you tell which color to get my local parts store immediately gave me the right color. I’m just curious though.
I change the blinker fluid, exhaust bearings, AC ice pack and restock the wood for the heater every 10 000 miles. Then I rotate each tire so that the part part touching the road faces straight up so they all wear out evenly.
Great vijeo! If da blinker fluid dant wark ya gonna need a wire stretcha. Wias isn’t aint not long nuf son! Now testin is even more criti…I say criti..I mean impotant. Grab the wire and wrap it around your tongue twice first then connect…..what was I sayin again? 😂😂😂
Is changing the blinker fluid on a 1970 Renault 8 the same? I've been told that the Renault's only need 200ml of blinker fluid per side, and between 6-700ml of headlight fluid per side.
I have hundreds of bottles like that that are brand new so all I had to do is print a label and I used hd clear tape to tape it on and I mixed orange and pink food color to make the blinker fluid it took a bit to make it look right 😂😂
I don't know if you have the same trouble as we do in the UK , but BMW and AUDI have a notorious record of faulty blinker fluid . You have to be really careful at junctions and rounderbouts as the poor drivers think that they're indicating , being responsible and thoughtful drivers and all along , no blinkers !!
I went to my local automotive supply shop and I asked for advice on the best type of blinker fluid for my Toyota Corolla. They all just laughed at me and it was awkward and embarrassing so I left. Do you guys mind letting me know what type of blinker fluid to get? I can't find anything online. Thanks. 2006 Toyotoa Corolla. 145,000 miles.
I'm way confused. Why do you have to measure in milliliters when the container comes in gallon-sized? I know I don't much about mechanics. I'm not talented that way. But I do worry about the metric system's undue influence on our freedoms. Thank you.
When you find a vehicle in front of you that is still flashing their blinker, but NOT turning, that is because they overfilled their blinker fluid, causing a short in the turn signal control arm.
@@jayasmrmore3687 my mechanic said its the same price for the blinker fluid but its harder to change the blinker fluid on diesels i dunno its not too expensive better to stay safe
