Thank you for this video you showed me a lot I didn't know, under the sign ( personal space lawn mower) was another little hole with a lever in it but I didn't know watching this video showed me exactly where the traction cable hooks up to ( up and under the thick plastic sign ) I had it in the wrong hole the wrong lever thank you keep up the good work every little bit of information helps that ( you think is not important it's important to somebody else be as specific as you can please) in everything you do thanks again

You can crank up the speed without having to back off the cable to get it to be able to back up. Per Toro, simply push forward a little bit to disengage the self propel and you should be able to pull it backwards without any resistance.

What do I do if my cable is too long?

I have an electric start model (20018), and there is no black panel to remove. Do I have to remove wheels to get at the cable / lower spring?

I have a Model 20068 and in order to get the old cable out, it had to be cut. I am now unable to get the new cable through the top of the deck, as the hole through which the spring needs to be inserted also has a battery cable running through it and doesn't leave enough room for the spring of the new cable to fit through. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
