WARNING ⚠️ OIL COULD BE BURNING HOT 🥵 Danger ⛔️ Make sure you let the engine cool a bit or only warm it up 10 minutes driving no need to drive five hours and then drop the oil straightaway you will regret it. Fourby4diesel
Like the 'What its like to be you...' greetings from England... you need to do it outside, in the rain and cold to be like us! Like the content as always.
Bloody HELL! Exactly how did you hold the phone so steady with warm/hot oil pouring down your fingers. Even us novices use Workshop disposable gloves. In fact they are good to put over the used filter (after emptying of course) before disposal. I only put one on the hand that does the oil drop.
Thanks for the info, I was changing my oil filter every 5K with my oil. I'm currently using Castrol Magnetic 15W-40 in my 1KD Hilux. Do you recommend switching to Penrite 10W-40?
Castrol is a great oil , but because you are changing it every 5k the penrite is a very good choice also , just use what you are happy using. the importance is that you change at 5k. The penrite is Australia if that makes a difference
Thanks Anthony. I've got a 1kz with 365000kms on it. I change oil filter every 5k. Should I push that to 10k too? Does the 10k filter rule apply for a 1kz?
