I have same issue. Just vibrates when plugged in or taken off but no charge. New never used so can't be a build-up of anything yet. Also how long 2 leave plugged in 4 full charge 2 see if that's issue? Guess mine is defective.

The carbon at the charging points get accumulated and it is a bad conductor so when we rub with knife it get removed
