@@ElectricTeeth it’s absolutely amazing, it actually feels like i just got a cleaning every time I use it. It’s a massive upgrade compared to the 10$ electric one I was using before and tbh idc that it’s 400$ after the first use I was sold
Hmm that is a long time. It could be worth contacting them. Or what you could also try is using the brush until the battery is flat and then recharge it fully again. Sometimes this can fix issues like this.
@@ElectricTeeth Hi. Thank you for replying. I decided to return the toothbrush for a replacement yesterday. This one has charged fully overnight so it gets its first run this morning!
1 brush head can fit into the Sonicare Prestige 9900 travel case alongside the handle itself. Where many travel cases have space for 2, the Prestige travel case has space for just 1.
I know you mentioned that the ProtectiveClean isn't compatible due to size, but are there any models other than the 9900 that are compatible with the 9900's USB C charging case? USB C charging is the #1 thing I'm looking for in a new brush.
I don't think there is a compatible handle other than the 9900. If you particularly want USB-C charging in the case, have you considered SURI? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rxbQ8z5E77k.html
There is no way of finding this information out. There is no perfect formula for keeping the battery in great shape. But as a general rule if you discharge it to around 20% and top it up to 80-100%, so you are giving it fuller charges and not constantly leaving it on the charger, you may find you extend the usable life.
The ultimate brush is the Sonicare Prestige as @hudizzle3289 says. But, you can't easily change modes on it, you need to use the app. But, you don't need the extra modes. In reality, much more affordable models like the Sonicare 4100 Series are perfectly adequate. There are extra features on premium models that make daily use a bit better but not game changers or must have's.
So I just bought the 9000 and I thought it was just like what I had. What I had just quit on me. Very upsetting at that price. The new one, there is glass, so after looking at your video i just put the tooth brush in the glass and plug it in and voila it is charging. The other option is the case. Put the tooth brush in the case and then voila it is charging, Is that correct?
Yes this is typically the situation with the DiamondClean 9000. You should get the beeps & vibration from the handle when placed in the glass or charging case to confirm. You should also see the LED on the handle change colour based on the charge staus.
None of the travel cases for electric toothbrushes have batteries inside them. You can't charge the case itself. You can with some models charge the toothbrush when it is in the case. In this instance a power cable has to be connected to the case to charge the toothbrush.
I don't have them both to hand to confirm 100% but if memory serves me correctly, I don't think so. The charging stand configuration has a large part to play.
I bought a Phillips Sonicare about 5 years ago, charged it and used it once only because I found it to be a bit harsh. My dentist suggested trying it again. However, the battery (handle) won't charge. Has it been too long without charging and is not able to charge again?
Possibly. Leave it on charge for 24 hours or so to give it a good opportunity to sort itself out. If it still doesn't power on then it seems like you will need to replace it.
@@ElectricTeeth I decided to give it one more chance to charge, and I noticed that after about 2 hours, that one little green light started flashing. It took at least 24 hours I think to fully charge. So your belated advice was bang on. Thanks.
Superb. Lots of Sonicare brushes can take up to 24 hours to charge fully. But it can take longer for the charging to properly begin if the battery is completely flat. Great to read it is now working again. I how you get on better with it this time. 👍
Is there a best water flosser that you could recommend? I'm from the US. Had a Burst water flosser that I used for almost a week and it stopped working keeps malfunctioning.
Thank You for sharing, I like to check if charging Prestige 9900 works on the soniccare cup stand? I learn from you the charging case doesn't work but the cup is using Qi Charging, would it work?
Hello please can you help, I'm looking for the best quality toothbrush money no option I want it to be very high quality, great battery and wonderful performance what would you recommend?
This is subjective. If I had to pick of the models available, I would go with the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige. Battery life is good, well built, nice travel case etc.
