How to charge batteries for Sony Cybershot DSC W55 camera. There are two different charger featured here. One is the original charger that the camera came with and the other is from Kastar battery company. Both will certainly do the job well.

Hi Nero, unfortunately at the time this camera was made the feature was not available. The answer is no, you can only charge the camera battery using the charger that you see here in the video. Good news is that you can get it from the link in the description

I have Sony cyber shot Carl Zeiss 14,1 megapixels camera and it has its own battery, however when I tried to charge it,and put it down to the camera,it shows me " for use with compatible battery only" How can I fix it

Well, one thing I do know is that the battery can only be charged with the charger and the camera is not capable of charging the battery via usb. Maybe you need a new battery

It stands for Single Auto Focus. You can shut this off by going to the cursor button, it had a little flower on it. You can turn off the function there

Hi there, usually that means that the contacts are dirty on the charger or battery, I would clean them and make sure thay there is no debris on it. It could also mean that the battery is completely depleted and you made need a new battery

Hi, the battery does lose its full potential over time. But you can easily get a fresh battery on Amazon or Ebay.

Hi there, this was about an hour and a half. It depends on the age of your battery. If its brand new then it will be a lot faster

It could be a couple of things. First it could be that it's an old battery, try a new one. Sometimes the contacts get dirty, try wiping them down and clear any debris. Also, it could be the temperatures, if the battery has been in a hot place for too long it may not work properly

Check the contacts on the battery and the charger, sometimes when it blinks it means there a bad connection. Make sure both are clean and try again. Sometimes this occurs when the battery has not been used in a long time or it's too cold in the environment to charge. If its still blinking after trying all this, you may have to buy a new battery.
