Hi, regarding with no power issue with np350. Measured power button with 3v, checked big inductors without 5v & 3v, checked 19v pass through 2 MOSFET are ok, checked 3v & 5v power supply rail with 19v. Tried to replace super io ic, found out power on button indicator was light up but laptop no still power. Any idea? Thanks

Hi I own the Acer Aspire E1-571G which its power jack was loose and sometimes not charging the battery , once I open the laptop and tried to fix the power jack loose connection wire , however suddenly my Iron solder shortcutted to the power jack body and sparked and my laptop never turn on anymore , I guess polar diode connected to power input socket may harmed I really appreciated to have any advice or repair procedure for this issue

I am trying to see how you arrived at the reference voltage of 10 volts when it is not given on the schematic and you didn't show how you then replaced the chip to prove you were 100% right. I can only ask if you do another board in future you fire the board up before and after you start sorting the problem. Well done for figuring it out.

I took my PC in to have it serviced. There was lots of dust inside and the heatsink was hard, brittle. The tech guy cleaned it and put NEW heatsink! The "Acer Aspire 5733Z" still CONTINUES to turn off after a few minutes. If you plug anything into the usb, it turns of faster. What can it be? HELP?
