nice vid. this is good for ppl that don't know how to check stuff like this. i went throw a one year automotive program and i did all same stuff u did in here plus some thanks for the videos. keep them coming
I would suggest put gas in spray bottle. Spray directly inti throttle body holding throttle open. Put big hose back in place so if backfire won't catch fire. If it don't start check spark at #1 plug and coil wire. Hold with pliers with rubber grips so you don't shock yourself and wet pants!
hi bmy 1990 5.0 revs to about 4000 rpms then just bogs out ike there is a limit or something when i first bought it i could redline it. the timing is set, so idk if fuel pressure could be my problem?
it will fire the motor, it is not MEANT for it, but it will work. This is coming from people that are helping me make these video's and are a lot smarter then you or I when it comes to working on these :)
I have a question i recently changed my fuel system on my 92 mustang gt and now my car don't wanna start it cranks but it wont start any suggestions will be highly appreciated i think it might be the ignition module tfi.
If it was running before I doubt its the tfi. Are you sure your getting fuel? Spark? Also check the fuel cut off sensor in the back which cuts fuel in an accident but can be tripped for other reasons
so i just tried this and everytime i sprayed the carb cleaner in my car would start up then die, so whats the out come ? bad fuel injectors? my car bogs and hesitates under heavy load like 35 ro 4k rpm
I have a 1993 foxbody that’s in the shop the mechanic has had it for months he says the injectors aren’t getting power and may have an defective coil can any one help with this??
It could be a bad TFI IV ignition module, or the hall sensor in the distributor. The hall effect sensor generates the Profile Ignition Pickup signal(PIP). If the signal is missing, then there will be no injector pulsing via the computer. Also check for bad grounds or "opens" in the injector or ignition system wiring. Also check your grounds on the EEC IV ECM.
@@ddec92 I have a 86 FoxBody that fires up but I can't get it to stay running. I've changed fuel pump and filter, cleaned injectors, tried bypassing the inerser switch, new relay and ignition switch and still nothing.
Mc Flip Did you check the ground for the fuel pump? You could have a weak connection at a wiring harness which supplies 12 volts to the inertia switch and fuel pump. Also check for corrosion at the harness terminals and chasis ground for that circuit.
