Let's learn how to check your PC or laptop specifications on Windows. If you want to see what kind of processor you have, what graphics card, how much RAM memory, and much more, then watch this video until the very end to find out how. I will show you four different ways on how to check your PC specs.
So, without wasting your time, let's start. The very first step to check the specs is to press on the little Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen and click on the settings icon. When the settings open, you want to click on "System." Now go all the way to the left side and find the "About" option. This will give us some information about our computer: the device name, processor, installed RAM, device ID, product ID, system type, and Pen and Touch. We can also see the Windows specifications, including the Windows Edition and version, and when it was installed. You can also rename your PC if you want to.
Now let's see the second way that we can see a lot more specifications about our device. Go to the search bar on the bottom left of your screen and type "System Information." Open this app. Here, where it says "System Information," a window will pop up with a lot of specifications and information about your PC or laptop. We can see the system model, system manufacturer, type, and a lot more. We can expand all of this info on the left-hand side, like the hardware resources, components, display information, and storage.
The third way that we can see the information about our computer is to go to the search bar one more time and type "Command Prompt." Open this. When the command prompt opens, you want to type "systeminfo" and press enter. Now we will be able to see information about our Windows 10 computer, like the total physical memory available, physical memory, system manufacturer, the original install date, and so on.
The fourth way to check our specs is to click on "Control Alt Delete" simultaneously and select "Task Manager." This will pop up. Now open the performance tab here, and in here you can see your CPU usage in real-time, utilization, speed, and much more information. You also have graphs which show you the CPU usage in real-time. You also have similar information for your RAM disk and so on.
