This is how i check and top up the engine oil on my in-laws 2017 Honda Jazz or Honda Fit in the US.

@@doctorjenny Hello, i change my engine oil and filter around the 8 to 10 thousand miles area or once per year. Hope this helps! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions 👍

My goodness I thought I was going insane. Just changed my oil and these damn Honda dip sticks are so weird to read. One side looked like the correct level, and then the other side looked like it was over maximum. Thanks for the video!

Can you top up fresh oil even if the current oil is black?

@@bornleaders7028 Yes, not a problem. Just make sure you top up using the correct oil 👍 If the oil is black, it’s probably time to have the oil and filter renewed 😉 Sandy.

Would I be correct in assuming that the oil used in your video is suitable for a 2011 Jazz - many thanks

Hello, I’m unsure if it’s the same oil. The oil required for your car is specified in the small handbook that came with the car. Normally in the wallet with various other manuals 👍
