Works great as of 7/4/24. A couple of things that might help that I missed the first few tries: 1. Make sure you are using the ash of war assassins gambit and not the spell assassins approach! 2. Make sure to wear the blessed blue dew talisman if you have it. It replenishes your FP. I never had to drink from a bottle even once. 3. Make sure to chain the poison mist attack two to three times until you see the hp start draining. It goes 39 per second until it hits 3529 or so then stops. Just repeat poisoning. Thank you very much for this video. From a former smudge on his crater floor.
Update for anyone wanting to try this and wondering why he gets up. Dont cast it when you're next to his booty. Just stay crouched and cast poison the entire time. As long as your crouched behind him he wont move. Still cast assasin and unseen a few times to sneak up to him first but as soon as you do let the abilities run out *the ring keeps you hidden bc bayle isnt technicaly looking at you at that point* and cast away your poison. My advice is cast once and wait for it to run out. Two casts *for me at least* poisoned him and he dies to the germans preferred way of combat
Yeah I just attempted this a few times and my problem at the start was how many casts I was doing. Finally I got patient and casting once, waiting for the fog to clear, and again should be enough to poison him, and don't move at all not even a weapon switch, just flask if you need it.
@@jordansmith6959 yup not sure if I said it in the post but it's what I said to do *not meant to be mean sounding sorry if it is it's just how I talk and ig type*
Works perfectly. Took a few attempts to get the sneaking bit right. Recasting assassins gambit and the spell periodically until you get to the location, then you don't need to recast anymore. Poison mist and flasking doesn't aggro him, but other things do. I managed to complete Igon's questline by doing the following - Get him down to a slither of health, pop a bubble tear flask, summon greatshield warriors. He then aggro's and moves into phase 2. I then ran to Igon's summon sign, brought him in, and let the spirit summons and Igon finish Bayle on his last percentage.
I have black knife armor on as well as everything. Ng+12 I'm dead as I enter the door. Had enough wipes without a single dose of DPS before I looked up for a cheese. Legit at 30% health rn still ticking away. I would use unseen form then assassin's gambit just spammed both as I crouched around.
I didn't need creeps vial, concealing veil or old lords. I did use black knife chest piece thought idk if it had any effect. I was also able to sprint around the edge. Make sure your fp doesn't run out bc your character will stand up and he'll notice you.
You don't have to spam the poison since it's effect time-based. Use it 3x in a row and wait about 10secs in btw each use. So should only take a couple flasks. Make sure to not let fp run out bc your character will stand up and he'll notice you.
Stay crouched. Doing it rn. Health bar is at the D in drea(D). I literally have the knife removed and left hand only on L1. He hasn't moved at all. Just thinks he has bad indigestion. Lmao.
If the guy who sells it is still sitting in the chair, exhaust his dialog. Eventually he will leave but his sword will remain. Interact with it and you can buy all the skills
Ive done both ways of your cheese and every time i go to cast assassins then unseen he immediately sees me and attacks. but you say we need to keep recasting when in the video you never once showed yourself recasting anything other than the poison when you were crouched behind him
A much faster, more effective way to do this my friends, Get the Meteorite of Astel spell (I assume most people here should be able to aquire it since you have to best mogh and a whole bunch of dragons to get here. Us the cerrulean Tear flash and hold the spell for as long as you can. Beat him in one try and he never touched me. I missed the first two times so the cerulean tear ran out of effectiveness with me, but i still managed to eliminate his health in 2 runs of the spell
No it's not i almost killed him but i didn't notice I had 0 fp flasks and then my tarnished stood up and started stroking his head😂. Bayle turned around and killed me
