The first step to a successful diving career is attending underwater welding school. But not all schools are created equal, and you must be attentive to the characteristics that give you more bang for your buck.

The most important aspects of a quality school include top-of-the-line commercial diving related certification, real-world environments outside of a controlled diving tank (since it's difficult to simulate diving projects) and high octane instructors and courses.
Don't forget the other areas of choosing the right school as well. These include the correct prerequisites, tuition cost, school facilities (tanks, classrooms, equipment) and student reviews. Former students will tell you the real story.
After you've researched the school, contact them. Call a school rep and ask for more details. Then, try and tour the school in person to see everything you might have missed before.
Underwater welding schools are all over the world, especially in the US, UK, Africa and Australia where the diving industry is strongest.
