It’s interesting your video. My friend told me once exactly what you’ve said about connecting with the bowl in the process of buying one however during covid was not possible this way and I was in a hurry so I bought one small online. Interesting is that I didn’t like it when I received and took me 7 months to make this “connection” 😅today my little, cheap bowl is making the most beautiful vibrations and sounds ever and I love her! What I think is all about practicing and making the magic happen yourself, there’s no need of spending 1k or more to get into the trending 🤷🏻♀️
Lovely thank you very much.. I just invested in our two first bowls from Amazon., the imperfect one surpasses the thicker “machined” looking bowl. I noticed that the imperfect bowl is obviously hand made. Also, the bottom of the bowl comes down to a more rounder bottom vs the think machined bowl becomes flat on the bottom there for is too much surface contact vs the hand made bowl which resonates easier, louder, for longer period and has a more beautiful sound that’s easy to connect with. They both came from Amazon but the thicker machined bowl that may “look fancier” and is painted with blue patterns and looks shiner and more robust, actually has a higher pitch even though it’s slightly larger in diameter. With my limited experience, I now know enough to know that the important things to look for are not seen nor noticeable nor spoken about when the seller advises them.
I get goosebumps a lot lol but I love that feeling they can give as soon as the note is struck and how it sets that nice tone within the body, truly it is so nice and invigorating :D
Thank you for this video. I knew about handmade versus manufactured. I had been browsing, not realizing how different bowls of the same size can sound. I have since found a shop that has 2 recordings per individual bowls, and I believe I have found my bowl. ^_^
wow, I have a couple of bowls that were gifted to me but I am not experienced in knowing which notes they are and such. I wacthed this closed my eyes and felt each chakra strongly react and then you'd say which ones and it was on target to where I felt it. the only one that was different was the crown I felt on my third eye and the root i felt in the root but also would vibrate up into my heart. I didn't expect the smaller bowls to have deeper sounds. I thought they are higher tones. I feel drawn to so many of the notes haha, but am seeking root for grounding/ anxiety.. but they all feel soooo good! Thank you for this.
I have a question, I’ve been told with crystal bowls the intervals/notes matter a lot but with traditional bowls not so much. Because they have so many overtones that everything will sound beautiful anyways and there’s not one specific sound. Is this true? I’m trying to build a set but the first bowl was a random D#, 624hz 😬 or maybe I should get a set for each chakra 🤔
I am not sure about crystal bowls but yes for the metal singing bowls it can have 1 or several notes in them. Since you already have a D you can buy the remaining notes to make a full set. Let me know if i have answered your question correctly. Xoxo
@Elena-ty5xg Elena, the metal singing bowls, the handmade ones, indeed ALL of them have a basic tone (lowest tone of the bowl - fundamental note) and the harmonics or partials which can be from 2-3 to more audible, depending of the construction of the bowl, thickness in rim and shape. Of course it is very important that this tones to be in harmony! And the distance between the frequency to have the equal temperament, which it is very hard, because this are not tuned bowls like the Crystal bowls. But at least to be close enough. One the women from this video didn’t mention is the ethos of the bowl, and the pulsations of the tones, to have a harmonious mix between each other and it is also important that all tones to disipate in the same time.

For what purpose ? Is it for the smell and therapeutic purpose or to eat ? For healing purposes yes for eating I'd be careful as you don't always know what metals were used and if there are traces a led or mercury etc .

I have never seen or checked the sound of a bowl before and after being carved, i believe it affects the bowl... i have carved bowls that sound incredibly beautiful so it's a matter of finding the right ones. When an item is handmade and unique one has to try and try and try different bowls to find the one that works for him/her. 🙏🏻😁

@@nftelite3418 there is no one better than the other really, it's more about the magic you will feel and hpw you will react to the right bowl. You will know instantly and without a doubt because it will create something within you. I tend to like D more because as per the tibetan sound chart D corresponds to the heart chakra.... but it all depends on what you need the most now.
As for the size it is again a matter or preference do you like a higher pitch or a deep base, there is no right or wrong. Try the bowls, experience them and then decide :)
I googled which note goes with which chakra and it's completely off compared to what you say. However before you said throat i definitely felt it in my throat... Looks like it's better to just go by instinct.
Hello ! thanks for the feedback and very fair point ! in sound healing there are two sound to chakra charts, the Vedic and the Tibetan. I use the Tibetan sound chart, which is less common, but speaks to me :) what you have seen on the internet is the vedic sound chart
because when you fall asleep there are two things : 1- you switch brain wave (frequency) you go from beta to alpha, theta and then delta, this will allow you to experience sound differently. 2- your nervous system and entire body is more relaxed thus feeling more strongly. sometimes one frequency will hit strongly your body because it heals or pushes something but may not happen twice. when sleeping perception changes
