We can also use an ND FILTER to compensate the light entering the lens ? If we're unable to change SHUTTERSPEED and aperture anymore .

Ref: to 3:38 time stamp You are saying..." if you want LESS BLUR effect around the subject then one should choose a SMALLER APERTURE number like f 1.8 ". !! In my opinion it's the opposite. When I shoot portraits with f.1.8 I usually get a nice bokey / blur effect around the subject. With higher f' numbers like f 8 / f 11 and more mostly everything in the background is in focus. May be I'm doing something different or wrong so can you simplify this part again in the comment section just for my clarification Thanks.

Hi Kunal, great video again...1 question...When we are in Aperture priority mode , we can not control Shutter speed , then how can we implement the suggestions from this video..I mean by compromising on Aperture ...we need to achieve required or near required Shutter speed as I understand..If not any other way(going Manual ??)...Please suggest.... Same the case when we need a Portrait with f 1.8 (Shallow DOF)...in broad day light ...we might over expose..then how to handle not going down on Aperture???

DoF basically dep3nds on 3 factors, aperture value, focal length and the camera to subject distance.

Thank You Kunal ! For your informative tutorial. I love it how you teach.Can you suggest me about keeping shutter speed with f/4 aperture value in f/4 usm lens of 24-104mm while shooting just video? As the rule of thumb says I can’t go higher than 50 or 60 fps. Please suggest me asap

Basically if you shoot at 24 or 35 fps, keep 1/50sec, and at 60fps make it 1/125 sec. Ideally shutter speed is 1/two times the FPS.
