What's the difference between 7443 and 7440 bulb?
As shown in the video, 7443 is dual filaments, 7440 is single filament.
7443 switchback LED turn signal bulbs work for 7440 turn signal lights?
The OEM halogen bulb is 7440(single filament), which means it has one function, turn signal only. Also, the power cable just has two wires, the positive wire for turn signal light, the negative wire is the ground wire.
About 7443 dual filament bulb, the power cable has 3 wires, two positive wire, one negative wire. One positive wire is for turn signal, another positive wire is for daytime running light or parking light.
So, if you try to use 7443 switchback LED bulbs to replace the OEM halogen bulb 7440, the turn signal light(yellow light) will work well, but the white light does not work. Because the OEM power cable just has two wires.

I have a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Trailsport. So much conflicting compatibility information online. Tried to order from Amazon but always says not compatible with my vehicle and the ones they say are, are not. We don't suggest replacing the stock tail/brake lights with LED bulbs at the moment. According to our experience and some customers' feedback, if the tail light, brake light and rear turn signal work on the same bulbs for some trucks, the LED bulbs don't work well.

To be honest, according to our experience, for some models of Chrylser, Jeep and Dodge, these after-market LED bulbs probably have some compatibility issues. But you can try these switchback LED turn signal bulbs on your Chrysler 200 LX. You can return them back for a refund in case they don't work well.

Because for the trucks that rear turn signal light, tail light and brake light work on the same bulb, and the LED bulbs will not compatible with 3 lights according to our customers' feedback. Hi, we're told the T series LED bulbs still happened hyper flash on 2018-2019 Subaru Crossrek, so we suggest you use the load resistor to work with the LED bulbs. The front & rear turn signals both are 7443 for 16 Silverado 1500. But we don't recommend LED bulbs to replace the rear turn signal lights. Because for trucks, if the rear turn signal, brake light and tail light work on the same bulbs, the LED bulbs probably have compatibility issues. 2020 Nissan Altima SR. I bought some 7440s for my rear turn signals from a local auto parts store, and have hyper flashing. Would the T series with built in resistor work, or should I just opt for the load resistors and regular L series? Thanks

Hi, T-7443D is the right bulb size for youe 2018 Toyota Tundra. But some customers who own 2018 Tacoma said the swithback LED turn signal bulbs are not compatible with 2018 Tundra. So we don't recommend them to you. You could change the headlights or backup lights.

Hi, we don't recommend T-7443R LED bulbs for you to replace the rear brake light and rear turn signals. According to some customers' feedback, there are some compatible issues on the truck if the rear brake/tail and turn signal lights work on the same bulb.

Hi, I have a 2015 Silverado and I installed the bulbs T-7443 in my rear tail lights, they turned on bright for a quick second but dimmed slightly, as soon as it dimmed I started getting radio interference. Which lights do you prefer i buy, I seen someone with a 2014 use these on there brakes/turn signals and they didn’t have a problem. Thanks

@@lasfitvehiclelife I already sent the lights back to Amazon. So basically the T-7443 would light up no problem nice and bright but after about a quick second or two they would dim very slightly and I would get radio interference. I know my rear lights are turn signals and brake lights and not sure if that has anything to do with it but someone with 2014 Silverado did this to there rear lights and seemed like they didn’t have any issues. I really don’t want to install a resistor or anything to get brighter rear lights, I was hoping I would find an all in one light like the T-7443 that is plug and play

I was advised the following: Hello, no our bulbs will shut off regardless if another resistors is added. Youll just add more load on your turn signal fuse. Maybe blow out the fuse. Could you clarify if I can or should not add in-line resistors?
