Giving the vendors fabric swatches was such a great idea! Even just showing them a photo of the color on your phone does not always do the color justice. This is a good way to make sure everyone is on the same page!

Planning for may 2024. Really love the idea of outdoor under a big willow tree. (The venue named it Fred). Love dusty blue and sage or even a forest ish green. (Not sure) definitely dusty blue for sure. Lots of twinkly lights more of a romantic outdoors vibe I think.

I love these videos! We are going for subtle Christmas. Emerald velvet bridesmaid dresses, trees and lights, with red holly berries and dark greens being the main colors. I'm just trying to decide between gold or copper accents. I would love to know if you've done a holiday wedding before and how it was done!

So happy that I came across this video tonight!! I'm drawn to more nature colors (browns, mustards, sage, mauve) but love tie dye and I don't think there is a way to combine it. Narrowing down is so hard!

I was thinking about having a peacock colored themed wedding. With that theme there are so many colors with it how do you pick on just one primary color?

Hi Julia! Great video it was very helpful but I’m still a little unsure and need a little more guidance I wanted a muted color wedding I like the dusty blue and mist blue but also want the sage or mint color I just don’t know how to combine the colors together to compliment each other instead of being too overwhelming

Hi Julia I just got my venue and would like some help with picking the colors. That would be awesome if I could get your opinion! my dress is off white and very elegant it has a black ribbon around the waist and has a black bow in the back. The venue is at a golf coarse and will have a grey carpet and gold chairs I would like to have emerald green as my main color the wedding is in June 18. both me and my fiancé have dark hair and dark eyes.

My husband and I are renewing our wedding vows in DECEMBER 2022. I was thinking of doing a winter wonderland theme with the colors being white, silver, blush pink and a hint of burgundy. Can you give me advice on how to incorporate those colors? I really would appreciate it your advice.

Hi Julia, my bridesmaid dresses are ice blue from Birdy gray, mostly white flowers bouquets with eucalyptus, gold mirror welcome and seating sign, guys suits will be either navy blue or medium gray. This a barn venue wedding, plz share color palette for that would complement each other, thanks 🥰

I’ve been struggling with choosing colors for two months! I’ve done looking at bridesmaid dress colors in person, looking at Pinterest, paint chips and I still don’t feel like I can choose the perfect colors 😞

@@LCHolley Those are lovely. Did you make your choice already? Doesn't the darker red combine absolutely gorgeous with several jewel tones? Make sure your fiance gets a word in. Find your common ground. My husband and I were TOTALLY different in our outlook on colors. He's a bit color blind and got stuck on the safe side. I can't live without colors. We found our 5% mutual ground. Over the years I weaned him off the save, boring ones, bit by bit. But that takes a lot of time. He loves our colorful environment now, because he knows it matches. For your start I'd definitely understand, that this is a 50/50 partnership and thus both must feel at home with the color scheme.

Yes, that can definitely work. It's all in the balance. You'd want your more basic colors to lead and let the marigold pop in control. Be sure, if you go for two metals, here the champagne gold and the silver, that they complete each other, instead of compete with one another. Personally I love the combination of that soft gold in the accessories and the silver in the literal silverware on the table. Gives it a balanced and mature classic look. The navy blue goes very well with both. The marigold in the flowers and the maroon in flowers and candles would be popping and balancing as well. Personally I'd go for a bit of a range in the maroon/burgundy section to make it look more natural. I can visualize it already, it will be so beautiful.
