If you factor in all the characters you get for free after playing for 14 days. You get a character from every type except for support. So if you want to play fill then the best thing you can do is pick Eldegoss

I think I'm also going to choose Eldegoss. I really am intrigued by Crustle, Lucario, and Cramorant as Pokemon I'd like to unlock first to get a nice variety. Wigglytuff is also starting to look really fun to me tho.

My favorite is Zeraora and they are free in the event so guess that helps me out. Probably then go for Absol and Lucario as backup

I love supports and Eldegoss just does it for me, healing and buffing, boy that really butters my croissant

Probably Snorlax, he's going to be such a tank. I usually play strong slow characters so he'll be a nice fit.

Gonna start bingewatching these videos to learn about the game, i am so fascinated with it. Unfortunately already picked my starter (Eldegoss) but i am on that grind to unlock all the characters, slowly but surely.

VERY useful information, thank you. Told me everything I needed to know, which was basically how well each starter fulfills their role and what to aim for with each role. I kinda liked the idea of tanking with Snorlax or flanking with Talonflame, but I think I'll instead build to Crustle and Gengar and start with Eldegoss, since it's the only support that seems to heal and I've been a healer main in the past.

Depends on how the tutorial goes, but I’m leaning toward Talonflane or Charizard. Maybe Eldegoss, since I did play healers a lot in HotS, but the single Pokémon I’m the most interested in playing after looking them all over is Crustle.

Great video! I played the mobile device Canadian beta and the Switch Japan beta. I am so hyped for this game. I think beginners will undoubtedly pick Talonflame or Pikachu as their starter. For me though, I'm going Eldegoss. It's such a great healing supporter and will be quite valuable for early games before the meta develops.

I cant wait for this to come out on mobile! I didn't know you had to pick a starter pokemon but I'd probably still go with Charizard since I like his animations and has a similar ult as Davion from Dota. Great video btw, I dunno why but you sound so wholesome.
