In my opinion, the course matters a lot over the University (Be it any Fachhochschule, Technische Hochschule oder Technische Universität), if the course curriculum is something which interests you a lot then go for it. Upskilling, learning job oriented skill is only possible if you put in the time and effort. This is what I observed in Germany. End of the day, it completely depends on the individual's goals and requirements. Wenn Sie mehr Zeit haben, ist es sich sehr einfach zu entscheiden.
thanks for noticing that the ranking are not that important to be the only factor considered. i was recommended a few Hochschules in Germany and was devastated when I saw the rankings, but with your help I found out that it is not the most important thing ]]
Thank you! Would you explain the computer science and design one day? I'd like to know how design is combined with computer science and the future of it.

Hello. My daughter will come to Germany in September to study Informatics, I think your suggestions will be useful for us. She was accepted from TU9 universities Darmstadt and Aachen informatics department. We are considering between Aachen and Darmstadt in terms of student city, education and economy. What do you suggest us about this?

Hi, I am currently studying in German school ( going to 12 grade after the summer brake) and was looking into Mannheim and Aachen. But the thing is my school is in Schleswig-Holstein and the school programs are different in each region, and so I heard that different school diplomas might affect application process?
Bro, I am thinking about studying Comp Science in Germany. So when I enquired about it many people are giving different opinions about the language requirements. Many are saying that only A1 and A2 are required but some are saying till B2 is needed. I am really confused bro. Can you explain about it?
Hey Max, Love watching all of your videos. So, I got an admit from University of Stuttgart, MSc Computer Science (Autonomous Systems). If you can tell anything you know about the University and course it would be great. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!
The funny thing is that i want to study Diplomacy, but the only Uni which offers Diplomacy Master is in Trier. Plus the connections with Luxembourg. So, i feel very happy for my choice. Give me some feedback or advices if you know/are able to.
Mr. Max I am thinking of doing my 1 year on campus at IU (as other university requires 13 years) and then changing my university to any top uni (hochschule Fulda) and start my bachelors there.
Which university is best for Space and Technology? I want to do Electrical Engineering (Electronic so) and also want to get surrounded with space science. I want to make inventions and robots for space purposes..
Hello max, I want to study engineering and management in Martin Luther university . Is it possible to switch to data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning in future???
Mechanical engineering apart, it is important to say that literally all German state-run universities enjoy a comparable reputation and teach at a comparable level of quality and difficulty. Germans pay little to no attention to the assumed "reputation" or "name" of a university as this status applies to research and says nothing about the quality of teaching. There are no "ivy league" universities in Germany, and German employers give a f...k where in Germany you studied (... unless you study mechanical engineering). Also, German companies need staff. If you pass, you will be employed.
@@na209 Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Universität (RWTH) in Aachen, Technische Universität München, Technische Universität Berlin to name a few. That said, you can get a very good education at other universities, too. It is more a qestion of how large the departments are, what specialisations they offer, in which areas they excell, how many research funds they have. Robotics, environmental engineering and aeronautics may not be equally strong at every university, so know what you are looking for.
I've really been debating between Aachen and Munich lately. I have a rather romanticized view of Munich and in a city like that, I know I could be happy even if I were to be alone (I'm an introvert). But RWTH Aachen has better mentoring facilities than the schools in Munich and they also have a UROP or undergraduate research program which is again missing in the Munich schools. The professors in Munich are doing great research but as we know the faculty to student ratio ain't pretty, which results in limited opportunities. On the other hand, Munich gives me more of a freeing vibe, being a big city that's tied with nature - a place where you'd want to discover yourself during your undergraduates. In case of Aachen, the male to female ratio is low, which can potentially erupt a difficult s3xist environment to reside in and I already come from a s3xist environment. I finally wanna catch some break. I want opportunities that are catered to me but if I'm gonna spend 4-5 years somewhere, I wanna be happy there.
Do we have to apply for studienkolleg before application in the desired university or after we apply apply for the desired university, the university itself will assign us a studienkolleg as conditional offer ? If we want to pursue bachelors immediately after oir 12th grade.
Hey Max I have a doubt - I actually am getting direct admission in Studienkolleg of Bremen University but I have to study all my bachelors in Hochschule Bremen I can switch in other Universities And on the other hand I am thinking to do Pvt Studienkolleg it has less fees and FSP is recognised everywhere so I wanna know which way is better? Whats the reputation of Hochschule Bremen for Mechanical Engineering program Please suggest a good way as I know U have a great knowledge!! (I am Indian)
Max, thank you for such a useful video! I have a question: I am choosing between {Informatik, Bachelor} and {Mathematik with Informatik als Nebenfach, Bachelor} in the RWTH Aachen. Considering that I love math but am going to continue my career as a programmer, does it actually make a difference if I choose the second option? Are there, for example, any friends of yours who've chosen the similar career path? Thank you!
It makes to big diffrences. If you study cs you will have probably a little bit better chances in cs and If you study math with cs AS a Nebenfach you will have better chances If you wanna Switch to a economics/buisniss relatrd Job. I would Take a Look, wether ITS possible to Go from math with cs AS Nebenfach (underdegree) to a pure cs AS Masters. And sorry for my english, iam from Germany so IT isnt my native language

I am planning to study masters in Germany for computer science. My question is whether my bachelor's degree should be from top institutions like nit or iit or if my bachelor's degree is from a tier2/tier3 institution, will it affect my chances of pursuing masters in Germany. Kindly anyone reply
German unis are not interested in where you did your bachelor's degree as long as its syllabus meets the individual requirements for the master's degree. Apart from that they will have a look at your grades to determin if you get a spot on the programme. And you will have to meet the language requirements.
300 euro approx. per Semester (It depends on the uni, but in most cases it won't be that expensive). For the most german universities you will need a C1 level in german if your program is in german (There are some who accept students just with a B2 Level like TH Degendorf). For english programms it is mostly ielts academs 6.5+...(or another equivalent diploma)
