I get the concept of not wearing a watch that is too big but I wonder if we too often ignore the opposite end saying it is ok to wear a watch that is too small for your wrist? I know we say that those sizes are 'vintage' or 'en vogue' right now .... but couldn't the same be said for overly large watches that were trendy in the 80's/90's???
Agree totally . I have an 8.1" wrist and I have one vintage Avia Swiss watch, 66 years old and running great ! It's only 34mm, looks like a button on my wrist, but I do wear it occasionally. My normal watch size is 40-45mm and a couple of big G-Shock Mudmasters! I do wear a 37mm Orient dress watch occasionally too.
Great advice but please do something to improve your audio. It's tinny, echoey and the volume is all over the place. Content this good deserves better 👍
You are absolutely, 100% correct regarding the poor value for money the so called 'fashion' watches offer - unfortunately, the kind of person who buys these products couldn't give a hoot regarding the pedigree of the internals, or even the build quality - branding sells over common sense. A very good video.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! You are right about the people buying these watches not caring, not unlike people buying a 10k Rolex without knowing anything about the brand and the watch itself. But let's hope we can get a few of them interested and converted to true horology 😉
