If there is a screeching sound when there is not a lot of water on the windshield like when it is lightly sprinkling, does that mean they are on backwards? They are cheap ones from amazon and my dad was drinking when he put them on.
It's possible the cheap wipers are just a bit noisy. I doubt that your dad installed them backwards, that would be impressive though. If you want to get rid of that squeak here's a few suggestions: clean the wiper with some simple soap and then rubbing alcohol, try cleaning the windshield, make sure you have wiper fluid, and or apply a little bit of Armor All to the blade to "wear it in". Some of those new, cheaper wipers are a little stiff. Let us know if any of those work! Cheers! P.S. Sometimes our Dad's drink too.
I don't have any favourites yet, i mean i just got the car 4 months ago, but the wipers are a nightmare... They are loud AF and leave strings behind. it's not falling apart in the video but it leaves strings, does that mean i need new wipers?
Haha, I don't know if we can answer that outright, but I'll tell you this. I like the rain-x latitude - to me, it's been the best bang for my buck. I also haven't noticed a strong difference to the Bosch Icon. Cheers, Jerry! Happy Driving.
