I have a fair skin tone and transparent/white frame fits on my face perfectly. The sides of the frame can be of any other color if you want for eg,blue,purple/orange and the front side can be transparent. But if you don't want it then you can select a whole transparent frame. I think transparent looks better in fair skin tones. If you have a little dark aur mid skin tone then purple/blue/golden can also look good on you. Although it's your choise to select a metallic or hard plastic frame. Try different types and colors of frame as well and choose what looks best on you. Hope this helps ❤
