Did I hear you correctly you jumped from 80 grit to 220 I was taught never skip a grit or you will see scratches

Ok but before you route the panel on this glued up, wouldn’t you want to trim the ends first ?

You need to run those boards through a jointer. Badly. It's very unprofessional to glue up panels that have not been through a jointer on the two sides, then in the planer / table saw for the other two sides.

ghostdog662 - you might want to look at the video again.... the first thing he says is that he’s going to show techniques to correct the issues “without spending thousands of dollars of equipment.” So he’s showing the novice with some basic tools how to do it.
