The bidet is a game changer . It’s great for your girly parts especially during your period . It’s definitely a game changer and you will feel a million times cleaner. It takes about 15 min I have installed about 5. Also if you live in a colder environment for the winter I highly suggest getting the one with the warm water option

I have the second-plumbing-fixture type of bidet with a straight upspray water jet. For a few years, I used a cleaning service that seemed to send different people almost every month. Every single one. of them got sprayed in the face by the bidet, even after being cautioned about it. After they'd been here half an hour or so, I'd hear a screech from the bathroom and just shake my head. Another bidet baptism. Thank you for your content. I think I've just watched six or eight of your videos.

I am so glad I decided to use a peri bottle aka poor man's bidet. Costs less. No installation. Simpler to clean than anything attached to a toilet. Can take the bottle w/me anywhere I go. Does the same job as the hand-held sprayer attached to a hose or the bidet contraption that's on the toilet. But, that said, it's up to each person which they prefer....& it's about time the U.S.A. caught up w/the rest of the world when it comes to cleaning ourselves after going to the bathroom! Very nice, enjoyable video to watch.

Thanks for sharing this valuable tip. I know many people prefer this method. Tell me, how do you take it "wherever you go?" Do you carry it in your purse? I'm thinking concealed carry, portable bidet, lipstick - that's 3 separate purses for me to avoid cross-contamination. LOL. Do tell...
@patwagner9308
@patwagner9308 2 года назад
@@AskAngelaBrown There are various ways you could take it w/you. I take a tote w/me w/puzzle magazines in it so there's something to do if I'm away from home ....the peri bottle could be in the tote. A zip loc bag would be easy enough to tuck in the tote to hold cloth tp. Or use one of those cool wet/dry zipper bags...some have a pocket for wet & one for dry. Just put the peri bottle & cloth tp in one pocket & then put the used cloths in the other pocket. So that would just be a purse & a tote. The tote can stay in the car unless you are going to need to use the restroom. And, after all, a peri bottle weighs very little....it won't weigh down a purse or tote. And.....you're so welcome !

We installed one of those bidets on each toilet about a year ago and LOVE them! We did get the ones that connect to the hot water pipe under the sink, that was a game changer! The only part that is kind of hard to clean are the two slots there the bidet attaches to the toilet seat. Great video!

I just checked, the cold water coming out of the cold tap. The water was 48.9 F. That is way too cold for me but some may find it refreshing. So a bidet with a hot water connection is a must. Amazon has them for about $50.00 CAD. You also should get some new spacers that stick on the underside of the seat. This raises the seat up to match the new height increased by rhe thickness of the bidet.

Old school, over the rim bidet (warm and cold taps) is also great for washing dirty feet and shaving legs. Was teased terribly when I demanded it be part of our construction but am very glad I didn't yield to the negative comments of the male builders who called it "the butt washer". Have one for the RV too. Even our local truck stop has the fancy bidets.

My first experience with abulations wasn't with a bidet but with a water jug and a Muslim Indian family I nannied for - each of us had a 'rag' that got hung on its own hook in the bathroom to wipe with after we used a jug of water to wash/rinse with. In many Muslim homes and businesses you'll notice a jug of water next to the toilet and its used to pour over yourself like a bidet to wash with after using the bathroom. A fancy butt sprayer really isn't necessary, just a jug of water and a drying clothe : ) Although I will say I do love my fancy butt sprayer with warm water! Well worth the money! And we probably saved thousands of dollars just by using clothes to dry with rather than wiping with toilet paper! Cheers

@@blowitoutyourcunt7675 i have the fancy kind of warm water spraying bidet also but even with that, unless im washing with soap like during a shower, I wouldn’t feel its clean enough to get away with reusing a cloth down there after just swarm water spray. Just like with the hand example, if you got some poop on your hand would you feel clean enough after just rinsing with water to reuse the same towel to dry with? I definitely would still want to use the disposable toilet paper to dry myself. I would kind of be horrified if someone gave me a personal cloth to use after a #2 even with a bidet.

I love those toilet brushes with the under the rim brush, I have a Sabco brand one, and it's still going strong after 2 years! I use disposable cleaning and disinfecting in one wipes to clean my toilet, and they go in the little bin beside the toilet. Also, bidets aren't common in New Zealand, so I do use unscented baby wipes, and they are primarily what the little bin beside the toilet is for. The best thing about using baby wipes is you can get little purse packs and take them everywhere. I also use them to wipe down public toilets before and after use.

I prefer the stand-alone bidet basin, that I clean like I would a toilet. Toilet cleaner, brush and clorox-type disinfecting wipes. For a bidet, I next prefer the sprayer hose. I have a more delicate model the size of an electric toothbrush. The trick to using the bidet basin or sprayer hose is to straddle the bidet sitting backwards (facing the wall behind the toilet). I never have over spray, but also don't use too much pressure. The bidet you prefer seems less sanitary to me. You never cleaned the nozzles that show, or the nozzle parts that are exposed when in action. These parts are closest to the waste products, and likely very germy.

@@AskAngelaBrown I’d clean the outside of the toilet first, working inward toward the germy parts. Do the nozzles before the toilet rim. They should be treated as sterile so germs don’t spray on anyone. Discard gloves along with the contaminated gloves when finished. I like your ick pocket, but I’d add a fold-top sandwich bag as a liner so the wet brush doesn’t soak the paper towel and contaminate the pocket of your apron. And don’t sanitize the ick brushes in the sink. That would cross-contaminate.

The bidet nozzles are self-cleaning. If, for some reason, you have other issues, you can spray them with a disinfecting spray and use a soft-bristled toothbrush that you designate for this purpose only. After cleaning the toothbrush - use some duct tape and stick it to the back side of the toilet tank or under the lid, so it doesn't ever get confused and misplaced in the bathroom. 👍

I'm probably either a germaphobe or I got OCD, but everytime I use my toilets in my house (both having a bidet attached to them), I must keep them clean, using a soft toilet brush with toilet cleaner gel to leave no residue behind as well as wiping the seat down on both sides....each and everytime I use the toilet. It must always remain like at a hospital level of cleanliness. The same goes for the sink in the bathroom and kitchen.

Really enjoyed watching someone else clean a toilet, for a change LOL. 1 question tho... why don't you rinse your "icky brush" in the clean toilet water before pocketing it? You might even use the toilet seat-sandwich technique you used for drip drying the main brush to allow it to drip off for a moment while you are cleaning the tank & stuff. Now I need to go find the recipe for your neutral spay solution. Those scrubbing bubbles sprays make it impossible to breath when I use them.

Hi Mike, great suggestion for the ick brushes. The bathroom cleaner we typically use is OdoBan Professional Cleaning 32X Bathroom Cleaner (paid link amzn.to/3UvpvcD - so you can see what I'm talking about.) It does a great job on the exterior of the toilet and tank.

It would be great to do a video on a Toto washlet that is completely trashed. As in, the space where the wand comes out is impossible to clean. I honestly got very depressed and my washlet is functional, but unsalvagable in terms of getting it clean.
@AskAngelaBrown
@AskAngelaBrown 7 месяцев назад
When you say impossible to clean what do you mean? The washlets are made of a durable resin which is usually like a heavy-duty plastic. In a pinch, if you are unsure, an old toothbrush and some warm water with a bit of dish soap should allow you to get any wands clean. The Bidet nozzles are self-cleaning so just turning it on should clean the nozzles themselves. Or are you talking about something different?

It's an algorithm thing. If you set the show up correctly the bots that read the keywords, and description for the show will know what type of ad to serve up. My problem with seat style bidet’s would be that it’s squirting poo water in the direction of the lady parts . If it squirted backwards, it would be better . Women can get all kinds of infections from poo water getting sprayed into the lady parts area . I may be wrong about that . I won’t lie . I’ve had to jump into the shower after number 2 because TP wasn’t cutting it . Ah . The joys of being over 40 🤣.

@AskAngelaBrown
@AskAngelaBrown Год назад
Cleaning under the bidet nozzle can be challenging, but there are a few methods you can try. Mix warm water with mild soap or a bathroom cleaner and use a cloth or sponge to reach under the nozzle and wipe away residue. Alternatively, use a toothbrush or small brush with the cleaning solution to gently scrub the area. Some bidet models have specialized cleaning attachments for this purpose. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions and turn off the bidet before cleaning.

@AskAngelaBrown
@AskAngelaBrown 3 года назад
If you have a toilet riser or booster seat on the toilet you may not be able to use a portable bidet. I guess it would depend on both the model of the bidet and the model of the booster. The screws that bolt it to your toilet can easily be found up to 6 inches. There is, however, a bolt extender that looks like this amzn.to/2U2V4Rc and you would put one on one side of the seat, and then depending on the rise of the medical device, you would put another screw in the opposite side of the bolt extender. (So the bolt extender is in the middle and a long screw is attached on both ends. Does that make sense? )

I thought bidets were a worldwide thing until I moved to UK. Used one since I can remember. I was taught since little to wash myself as you explain with a bidet. Never really give a thought about bidets in my life. They were there. Oh, boy, how I missed it!!! The thing is, there were considered "fancy" ( fancy? , are we talking about cleaning my bum and have some comfort in my periods???) Of course, is the kind of fancy theme of chit chat to bring in a dinner. Like: "Oh! the lobster is really really lovely, just how when I wash with warm water my lower parts after using the loo, don't you feel the same, dear.?" ) Now Im in my home country again. And have again my bidets in my bathrooms. Oh, yeah. Relief. Out of curiosity, maybe you will like to know is commom here to use it also to comfort feet with salts after a long day or to leave clothes in water and soap all night. Its works in our homes like a bucket, but in porcelain with hot- cold current water installed. Here we do not separate the toilet bowl from the bath/ shower, sink and bidet. And the tiles run floor to ceilling, in the entire bathroom. So I feel free again to use tones of bleach to clean absolutely everything. Smells safe and clean for me. Well, and our washing machines are in the kitchen. Well, I think it is a great initiative of you bring the use and the concept of using a bidet or instead the machine you propose. I really enjoy your videos and your approaching to different matters. You are good help, you make me smile, and always, always sound so, so professional.
