How I clean bluegills using without an electric fillet knife. Quick and easy! Getting a nice complete fillet every time without bones. #wisconsinoutdoors #bluegillfishing #bluegills
Me and my 9 year son just started fishing and believe me when I tell you that this is an awesome how to video with no unnecessary verbiage. Good technique and teaching Thank you sir.🙏🏽
Like your method of cleaning a gill better than what I have been doing. Thank you for sharing your excellent way to filet bluegill. Excellent idea. From Missouri
Thanks man! I was going to film a couple buddies of mine this fall but they didnt draw. They have 16 or 17 points. Hopefully next year. I need to get back out there!!
Your method is pretty cool, but please kill the fishes before you starting to filet them. For me it is very cruel to see this. In Germany we have very strict laws for that. Greetings from the other side of the world.
Yeah you are right. I probably shouldn't show that. I keep them alive as long as possible. Warm water and warm weather make the fish spoil extremely fast. I dump ice on them immediately after dumping them. Dump more ice on them while cleaning them. Crazy how fast they can go bad. Thats the amazing thing about RU-vid. Creating relationships around the world with a few clicks!! Thanks for watching!!
@@wendtoutdoors funny, there was a day that wouldn't have bothered me at all. as I get to be an old man these things have more of an affect on me. so just last night my son was up (Upstate NY) and we decided to catch a few Bluegill in our pond and try to grill them. So there I was ready to filet them alive......and I couldn't do it. but my son made sure they were un-alived for the venture. I wasn't too good....a sharp filet knife would have help....but got some filets out of them. wish I saw this video prior!
What is wrong with them keeping the fish? Wait you must be one of those that thinks everyone must release everything they catch. Besides amount they keep being legal there is nothing wrong with it.
