Man, the local Suzuki mechanic said to run it for 5 minutes so that the thermostats will open up and let the water/saltoff mixture go throughout the entire engine.
Good video. I would recommend shutting off the engine before switching it from water to mix. That way the water pump isn't starved of water. If you notice in your video when you switched from water to the mix your water pump stopped peeing for a second. The instructions even say to shut engine off first.
I sold that boat over a year ago due to moving out to western NC! Never had an issue with the water pump being starved of water switching it over. Now on my big bass boat with a 150, always shut it off but those smaller engines seem to be so much tougher so I never worried about it,
