Awesome tips! Every little saving helps. 👍🏼 I bought a roller and some home-Deco paintbrushes and a scraper so cheaply from the hardware store, plus I buy these huge and small styro foam boards, which cost 1/3 the price of canvas. Gives me a chance to paint without worrying about ruining a canvas. I use plastic cutlery for my impasto ; mostly plastic knife for my scraps, forks are awesome too. I use old jars and plastic tubs for storing and using water. Plastic/paper plates are great for mixing paint. Can be re-used. I painted over old shoe boxes which I keep my acrylic/water/gouache tubes in. I even painted my glass jars just to jazz them up a little. Creativity helps to keep costs down! 😁

I just found three paintbrushes that I've hardly used. Two are stiff. I'm just starting with watercolor in coloring books. Subbed!!

Magnet strip works great for holding brushes to dry. Harbor freight has them cheap

Oh! The brush washer at 3:00 ! I found one that's made to fit in a cup with a suction cup - though I wasn't sure if I ought to use it like that while painting, or just for clean up when I'm done. (commenting as a watch!)

Try Murphy's Oil Soap. It's magic. 😊
