Nice video and nice series.. grab a shorty nozzle for that pressure washer, love my electric pressure washer and shorty nozzle for cleaning at the shop! You may want to note to folks to use a low psi pressure though, around 1200 psi w a wide nozzle like 40 degree to prevent damage to you and the tool. A 1/4" hose w jet nozzle does a pretty good job to wo any worry of damage

I like all your videos but this one, you might want to consider refilming ;) That's the most messy clean up i've even seen lol. Some tricks, 1: to empty your mud tube, just remove the cover plate, close your filler gate like when you want to fill the bazooka, then turn manually the drum to empty your remaining mud back in your bucket. For cleaning i use a standard garden hose on site, if mud has dried during use, i let it sit in a bucket of water then clean it at the end of the day. I've been using it for 6 months and it still looks like new. If you don't have acess to water, use a bag from a mud box to cover it tightly and clean it at home.

This is not a good method of cleaning. Pressure washer is too powerful. Makes a mess and could possibly damage the seals in the head of your taper. Regular garden hose is my preferef method. If you add some dish detergent to your mud it helps in cleaning the tools at the end of the day. There is an adapter you can buy online that will thread onto a regular hose pistol, that you can slip onto the mud port that sits onto the gooseneck. You simply slip it on and spray water inside the tube. It really assist in cleaning the inside well.

I saw a guy with a nasty cut on the the palm of his hand using a pressure washer like that, It looked like a machete cut, please edit your video, because there's a lot people watching this and they're gonna get hurt. I washed mine today just using a garden hose nozzle, that's all you need, no brush, no sponge.

can you use crc 5-56? for lubrication?

Not familiar with that one but I wouldn't no. Fluid film or a silicone spray which is more common. Nothing else.

Just use a hose not a pressure washer, you risk cutting your own skin like that and yes pressure washers can definitely do nasty cuts if you're not careful. And when he was holding the handle in one hand and the tool in the other, it was such a bad position straining his joints and also made a big mess that's why he cut the video and had mud all over his face. He should have been more honest after the video and said the pressure washer is not a good idea, just use hand tools and take your time. It just takes time to clean a complex tool like that.
