I live that you used alliteration to make it easy to remember and you repeated it 3x's to get it to "sink in." Repetition is always a great way to help us retain the info. I have heard a guy restores saddles, forgot his YT channel, but he suggested using scrubbing bubbles spray foam to kill the mildew. I tried it, it works. Vinegar is cheaper though, but I did like the way through foamy bubbles got into the crevices & creases. Since the gentleman is a saddle repair shop, I trust that his tip will not harm the leather. As with your method, you wipe/rinse with damp sponge to remove residue. If I may also add not to reuse cloth or sponge that was used to wipe off mildew, so as not to reintroduce the mildew to clean tack or saddle. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your comment. I've n never heard of using scrubbing bubbles to clean mold, but it would work. Mold is fungus, you have to kill the mold in order to not have it spread. So a fungaside would work. Thank you for your support:)
Here's a saddle with silver resteration.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TexFFh6lTpc.html I used Mother's on this one. With lots of Polish. For rust I clean with CLR.
Hi Ally Women, I’m working on a new Cleaning TV Series for Ricochet TV Production Company (the makers behind The Repair Shop on BBC One) & we’d potentially like to feature this video and your saddle cleaning video. Are you able to put your email address in your about section so that I can contact you please?
