one basic rule is to ALWAYS unplug the battery before you do anything. This is to prevent you from getting shocked and also to prevent any components from getting damaged
helpful video, my laptop is a few years old and thermal throttling alot so I think it needs a clean and fresh paste but fug me the"music" is awful on this video had to turn it off to stop it hurting my ears
I want to know after how much time this laptop is being cleaned, like in months and if it is first time then how long this laptop has been used (in months)
1st time after one year(according to surrounding atmos. dusty and wet or not so you can understand 2nd every 6 month you need to clean fan radiator and replace thermal paste so it will work without lagging(also be careful don't mess-up too much with body because every step will decide your laptop body age.(i mean to say don't break the lock of body just use proper tools and guideline.
which vents you mean radiator ? yes you can do it easily just need to follow steps 1. complete turn off laptop 2.remove back cover 3.remove battery 4. remove CMOS. take pictures of every step so you don't loose anything
what component is that one top-right of the cmos battery, the one with the black and white small cables entering? The white cable in my pc unplugged and won't fit anymore
hello, I did all the operations by watching your video, there was no problem, but now the touchpad is not working. I run my finger over it but it doesn't detect when I click. what do you think i should do, did i unplug the cable or something?
should i open up the fans also and clean the dust inside, i know that this is said to be a dust free system byt i think some dust is in the fins and and near the fan, is it safe to open up the fan also
Yes of course we already did this before There are two slots for ram at 1:30 I remove ram is 2nd ram which we installed as per customer requirement 1st slot is exact front of 2nd slot which is company default in this particular laptop total installed ram is 16GB and 8GB in each slot bottom side also you can upgrade m.2
question!! everytime i turn my laptop on, it makes a very loud buzzing noise. it’s coming from the fan. is there any way to fix it? i blew into it and everything.
there are 3 screw in fan casing. just open it and clean it. if you are technician then check control voltage on fan connector it varying or not(should be vary little depend on how much your laptop produce heat). some time fan control is create a problem. so there are 4 to 5 things causes of fan noise. also check any mechanical issue
Hello, I have same laptop and performance has fallen too much and overheats. Do you think an clean-up and a full reset will help achive close to new like performance ??
If your laptop fan radiator filled with dirt and thermal paste dry then 100% work Check all things you get the solution and Be careful during disassemble the laptop

Hello is this the 2018 i5 8th gen version? (ASUS ROG Strix GL503GE ES52 Hero Edition) If it is would you happen to know what cpu could be used as replacement? Mine apparently had battery acid leak( according to the shop) and it damaged the cpu and the screen won’t turn on again after receiving it from the shop with the screen working 2 days ago.
@@dginfotech1873 thank you for the response. would you also happen to know what exact motherboard is used or compatible motherboard that could be used to replace the current one? Thanks.
