well done mate. good to show cleaning methods to new Detectorist that have just started the hobby. there are so many ways and cleaning products out there. that some people are not knowing which ones to get or use. 🙂👍
Yeah and I came across this by accident as it was all I had in so gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. It gets the beach green crap off so perfectly.
Hi Ash thanks for sharing you cleaning tips most appreciated, not just for the experienced detectorist but the also the new detectorists just starting out into this excellent hobby, see you on your next video.
i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Zaid Korbyn i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Thanks for sharing, off to shop for supplies now lol...had to giggle when I saw you using the corner of sink for cleaning purposes, that's the one I use and the missus always knows cos it shines more than the rest!! Keep up the good work with your great vids, learned a lot from them...Happy Hunting 🙂
@@thesouthernsearcher Cheers buddy, only been at this a couple of weeks, got a simplex, well happy with it, had a few george v pennys up and a 1937 half shilling so will clean them and keep you updated 🙂
I know I was pleasantly surprised when I first used it! The half silver coins come up like new! Obviously if you leave them too long they may get eaten but 48 hours did none of mine any harm. Thanks for watching.
ive been using the black Harpic to clean up my coins and jewelry for the past 7 years, as shown in your video it works a treat, one word of warning though do not be getting it on your chrome like taps etc cos they will rust up real quick .
@@thesouthernsearcher ... i use it on my rings as well , they come up like new. .. i had been thinking Newquay beaches had been " done to death " but you guys are proving otherwise, im just down the coast , paths may cross one day, in the mean time. g/l and h/h :-)
Were they beach coins or land? I've found land coins will go green and so will beach coins if all the crud hasn't come off. I sometimes put them back in for a bit after a clean and that gets rid of it all.
@@michaelhurst1353 yeah it will happen more with land coins I generally just use it on beach coins but can use it on land coins but depends how far gone they are.
