Glad to see you back. I have a cleaning company as well, sanitation, move in/move out, residential cleans. It's always nice to see if what I do is normal, extreme, OCD, or if there is something I haven't tried yet, that maybe you have. Love the backpack vacuum, I don't have one yet, I am in the research phase of finding the "perfect" one (any recommendations?)
Well hello Miss Lori thanks for the comment! Nice to talk with a fellow cleaner. I would just suggest going through and watching my 3 videos about backpack vacuum cleaners. From that point you will have a good idea of what exactly you are looking for. We use the Pro Team backpack.
There IS an easy way with plastic blinds, fast and very effective. I have 2 sets in my office and they take all of 10 minutes to clean. I unclip them from the top fitting and hang them extended from my garage gates using 2 loops of string around the top bracket, then I use a garden hose and a 3 inch paint brush to give them a good soaking and clean, front and back. They drip dry fast, then I put them back and give a wipe over with a cloth. I don't bother polishing them as it's only my office - for the living room I'd buff them with furniture polish.
This guys tutorial on cleaning blinds was very good except for the damp fiber cloth on the blinds.....Moisture and detergent in time will eventually weaken the strings in the blinds. I use a swifter on my blinds then I use a dry fiber clothe to wipe the entire blind front and back off....
Thanks for the support!! Kinda like if you worked in a pizza shop the last thing you wanna do is come home and eat pizza, it's like that. We have a friend of ours clean our home alot of the time lol :)
If the blinds have a lot of sticky dust like from a kitchen area or something like that. Take the blinds off the windows and soak in a bath tub with cleaner. Hang to dry.
I never seen these cleaning pads anywhere, I know I have to take em outside hang em up using spray them off clean with soap & water then start cleaning them regulary with a duster.
Thank you for the video! This is way better than making my usual dust storm when I do the blinds once to twice a year! Lol I will have to invest in a Swiffer duster and maintain them. How often do you dust them?
I was just cleaning my better with some bleach and I was sprain a lysol on the walls but I did not realize lie so contains ammonia So I had to air out my entire apartment Luckily I found out right away As the vice all on the walls were beginning to drip and the bleach water So yeah IX the excaped my death Just now😶
Good tips. But I prefer to take the blinds outside hose them down real quick, then with a large bristle brush give them a quick brushing on both sides and hose them down and hang to dry.
Sorry if what I said some didn't make quite cents my voice text sucks super sorry for that buut yeah Don't use lysol spray and bleach in the same Room I saw spray has ammonia

Hahaha. Creep!! Very true with dust. I live in it in Arizona lol I have that same swiffer duster. Dont buy the store brand of the refill dusters for the swiffer, they dont work. They just push the dust around and into the air. Unfortunately my blinds arent the kind you have.
