How To Clean Brick with Vinegar

In this video I wanted to rest the effectiveness of regular (5%) vinegar on some exterior brickwork on my home. This section of brick is a small area leading into my basement. As you can tell by the video, the brick has not been cleaned in long time - three years of neglect to be precise.
Cleaning this brick I felt was a good case study to see how vinegar tackled a tough buildup of algae. With the aid of a pressure washer I think the results were pretty solid, but I will let you be the judge.

Useful video. Did you dilute the vinegar with water or just on its own? Which strength of vinegar is this please?

5% acidity. That is regular food-grade vinegar, so you'll find it in any grocery store. I believe I diluted it but you can spray it on without dilution.

If you want to have a real good brick cleaner try this solution: On 100% mixture 70% water 10% HCL 20% HF and ad to this mixture 1/2 a cup (high foaming) dishwasher. How to apply: First pressure wah the surface, then apply this solution from bottom to hight. Let sit max 10 minutes and rinse off with high pressure water and your surface is like it is new build!! Advice after this hydrofobe the surface

Use the chemical industry quality HCL (30%) And HF in a 40%
